Did you know that in New Mexico, there are FAR fewer people with health insurance than on average in the United States?

According to data from a survey conducted in 2022 there’s a greater than 10% gap between the average number of those insured in most states, when compared to those insured in New Mexico. 👀

In New Mexico, 741,600 people are covered by employer-sponsored insurance (ESI), or 36% of the total state population (2022 data). The share of ESI enrollment in the state is significantly smaller than the national average of 48.5%.
